have been fixtures in the Montreal underground scene for over five years, having played Montreal's most frequented underground events at clubs
such as Parking, Blizzarts, Coda, S.A.T., Saphir, and Billy Kun. They currently hold a residency at Kafein every Friday night from 10 till 3AM.
This past year has seen the rise of NCV Music, a digital label that supports local and international talent. The releases can be found on Beatport,
Itunes, Juno, Napster, and Rhapsody, as well as promotional CDs disguised as 5.25 floppy diskettes.

This 2 track EP shares similar anthemic qualities to the last three releases, but it mostly exemplifies an artist coming into his own, & developing a sound that is deeper, richer, & more dynamic than ever before. His style has a prominent retro feel with numerous synthesizers buzzing analog riffs, but it is his strength as a song writer & melodic poet that separates Kegaska's style from typical dance music producers. Residing in Montreal, Kegaska was the first artist released on NCV, and in February 2009, his album will be the first full length released on the label. |
| The Falconer Remixed FT ROMEO KARDEC & MATT BODEGA NOVEMBER 28, 2008 LISTEN NCV MYSPACE The Falconer Remixed is now available on Beatport.com and features interpretations by NCV'S own Romeo Kardec, and Bodega label owner, Matt Bodega.
The remixes flow over the entire spectrum of electronic dance music, with Kardec taking charge of bashing the beats. He wastes no time infusing his
signature sharp-edged approach by plowing his beats through the dance floor: Not recommended for the pedestrian head bopping wannabe-dancer.
Bodega produces a round sub-bass sound in his dub-step version of The Falconer, and as a bonus, he concocts an electro-house blend of bass and bliss
for any environment facing the DJ.

The title track is a melodic masterpiece of layered synth pads and driving percussion, but the B-Side may very well be the sleeper track of 2008.
From take-off, The Falconer's pulsating synthesizer emulates a distress signal and a warning that a transformation is about to occur to the
dance floor. From stable platform to all-out runway, your shoelaces better be tight for the flight because there is no hiding once the bass drops.
This is a statement track and a sign that Kegaska is taking his dance floor production to a dynamic level with no limitations in sight. |
